Carol’s frequency has been updated. Original version was untested and written with instructions specific to my preferred short row method.

The new version now features the following updates:
-Uses common w&t directions to accommodate any short-row method.
-Fixes previous gauge/needle discrepancy
-Includes visual stitch map
-Updated video tuturial
-Thoroughly tested
-Previous “Knit the Turn” instructions also still available

Pattern Description
Finished piece using 2 Crazy Zauberballs of approx 800-840 meters (or another 2ply color shifting yarn such as those listed) will produce a beautiful and versatile shawl.

The pattern allows you to shorten or lengthen the shawl as you prefer which means you can use slightly less or more of the yarn you have available to you. However a yarn that changes color independently over 2 plys is suggested to achieve the color-shifting effect.

Like most of my patterns, Carol’s Frequency can be worn no matter what size you are. This means that even if you lose or gain weight - this wardrobe staple can transition to your new wardrobe easily.

Gauge:
18 sts x 42 rows = 4” or 10cm in garter stitch unblocked

Needles:
US6 or 4.0mm circular needles or size to obtain gauge.

Finished Measurements:
17” (43cm) deep x 46” (117cm) wide

Recommended Yarn:
Crazy Zauberball
Color: 1507 or 2250 as shown
420m/100g; 200g/840m required

Notes:
This is a loose fabric and you may choose to deviate from the prescribed gauge. If you choose to use a much tighter gauge, you may require additional yarn.
