Carolyn's Shawl
Chevron-shaped shawl with eyelet details. One size, gauge not crucial, but you will probably want to knit a swatch so that your shawl will be as long as you hope. I used 4 skeins of Rowan Alpaca (and used each skein up before joining the next), but any yarn could be used for this project.
I’m not a designer, but have led a free knitting class at our local library for 7 years. One of our knitters brought in a shawl her mother had knit many years before; she wanted to knit another one like it, but we had a hard time locating a pattern. This is what I came up with, and Carolyn was happy with the result. i hope you will enjoy this shawl; it would be nice for those in a hospital or nursing home, as it stays nicely on the shoulders. Peace.
