Materials: James C Brett Fairground DK: 2(2 – 3 – 3) x 100 g balls 232m/252 yds; pair each 3¼ mm and 4 mm needles; 3¼ mm circular needle used backwards and forwards; stitch holder; 3(3 – 3 – 3) small buttons.

Tension: 22 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm over stocking stitch using 4 mm needles.
