Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2006: “Bright colors, soft yarn and attention to detail make this little carousel horse come alive. The horse is worked in stockinette and garter stitch, and her prancing posture takes shape through short-rows. The tail and mane are worked in chain stitch and I-cord. Appliquéd trappings add the final touch: crocheted chains form the reins, and a traveling bind-off is used to form the bridle. Choose your own carnival colors and make a toy that could very well become a treasured keepsake.”
