Carrie Cowl
When I designed this pattern the little “bubbles” in the pattern reminded me of my very bubbly friend, Carrie….so that is how it came to be the Carrie Cowl!
As I mention in most of my designs, I love to cater to beginners. If you are newer to knitting and want a little challenge, this is a great one! It is knit in the round and INSIDE OUT…how cool is that?
Gauge isn’t critical in this pattern, if you know you are a very loose knitter I would advise going down to a US10 or US10.5, if you are a very tight knitter I would suggest going up to a US13
The pattern includes video links if you need help with the two stitches needed in this pattern!
Also, you can easily make this more of a chunky knit by using 360 yards instead of 180! Basically, one ball of yarn or two! Since it is knit in the round just keep repeating the rows until it’s YOUR desired length! The purple cowl photographed is using 1 ball and the red cowl is 2 balls!
Enjoy!
