CARROL - A lovely skirt in stocking stitch in Shetland wool. The style is a straight skirt shaped around the hips. The model was intended as a matching part for the cardigan SKELBO. However, plain knitted the skirt suits the cardigan better.
Worked on circular needles.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 2.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Measurements of the garment:
Waist: 76 - 80 - 86 - 96 - 109 cm (in: 30 - 31.5 - 33.75 - 37.75 - 43)
Hip: 90 - 96 - 108 - 120 - 134 cm (in: 35.5 - 37.75 - 42.5 - 47.25 - 52.75)
Length: 50 - 51 - 53 - 55 - 56 cm (in: 19.75 - 20 - 20.75 - 21.75 - 22) or as desired
Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters. To use 200 - 200 - 250 - 300 - 350 g.
The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight, 100 % Shetland wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles. We stock the yarn.
Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.5 mm and 3 mm.
Tension/gauge in pattern (washed sample): 24 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
