A quick an easy hat, perfect for those variegated yarns you can’t live without but aren’t sure what to do with, Carry On is easy enough for a beginner and satisfying for an expert. The vertical carries that inspired the name are easy to execute and give not only an excellent way to show off the beautiful colors of a skein of hand-dyed yarn but a point of interest both for the knitter and viewer. I hope you enjoy making and wearing this hat as much as I do!

Materials
• About 140-160 yards dk weight yarn
• US 6 needles (a 16” circular, for the brim)
• US 7 needles (a 16” circular and dpns)

Pattern Notes
• This hat is easily adaptable to any weight yarn with notes in the pattern. The number of sts you CO may obviously change the yardage requirements and the ribbing pattern for the brim of the hat.
