I decided to publish this pattern in portions. Part 1 ‘Alster Waves’ lace looks like a heart. It’ s my Valentine gift for you.

Inspired by the bronze sculpture ‘Three men in a boat’ which is situated at the frontier to the district Uhlenhorst I designed this scarf. Uhlenhorst means nest of owls.

The scarf begins with an Alster Waves motif. Followed from three owls sitting on pillars like the men in their boat. They have a wide view across the water of the Alster river.

The next part contains street refuges between multi-lane roads with blossoming crocus flowers and japanese cherry trees.
