This is a rectangular purse that I created using the Catherine Wheel Stitch. I was inspired by the Cartwheel Galaxy photos. It is called the Cartwheel Galaxy because the whole galaxy looks like a wagon wheel. That is the reason that I used the Catherine Wheel Stitch, to mimic the spokes and wheel shape. Since I used a self-stripping yarn, the pattern really pops and mirrors those classic universe colors.
