I have now published an ebook of 3 accessories - beanie, mitts and armwarmers - that match, and can use leftover yarn from the sweater
Cartwright 2022 is a variation on my pattern Cartwright (available on Ravelry). Whereas the original had a crew neck, this new version has a V-neck - with optional collar - or can be made as a slipover.
The sweater has simple, monochrome fair-isle, then a 3-col tweed stitch yoke.
The sweater is knitted in pieces from the bottom up.
Sizes mean this can be worn as a unisex garment, with length added in sleeves and body for men’s sizes.

Yarn
This new version uses another Blacker yarn, a gorgeously soft 4ply wool, which could also be used for the original version (although needle sizes may need to be adjusted for correct guage)
The colourway of the sample uses (Long-sleeved version - sleeveless version uses approx 1 ball fewer of each colour. Actual amounts on pattern):
Dolphin (dk. grey) 3 (3: 3: 3: 4: 4) (4: 4: 4) x 50g balls
Sky Grey (blue) 3 (3: 3: 4: 4: 4) (4: 5: 5) x 50g balls
Pale Maiden (lt. grey) 5 (6: 6: 7: 7: 8) (8: 8: 9) x 50g balls

Needles
A pair of 3mm (UK 11/US 2 ½) knitting needles for the ribs
A pair 3.25mm (UK 10/US 3) knitting needles for the st st
A pair 3.75mm (UK 9/US 5) knitting needles for the tweed pattern
A 3mm (UK11/US 3) circular needle 40cm long for the neck rib

Guage
27 sts and 37 rows to 10cm over st st using 3.25mm needles.
27sts and 46 rows to 10cm over tweed patt using 3.75mm needles

Sizes
The jumper is meant to be worn with approx. 4-7ins/10-18cm of positive ease. Shown in size S with approx 4.5ins/11cm of ease.
The pattern is in sizes XS (S: M: L: XL: 2XL) ( 3XL: 4XL: 5XL)
