Caryn's Refootable Sock
This is a sock-making technique. Toe, sole, and heel (in that order) may be ripped out leaving leg and instep intact. Sock can be done in one color, but to use two contrasting colors you need 200 yds of each color. Pattern is written for 2 circulars, but can be done with Magic Loop or DPN’S. Pattern is written for K2P2 stitch pattern for learning ease and also includes Vine Lace Stitch pattern. You will be able to use your favorite sock patterns using this technique. No more worrying about using intricate sock stitch patterns and worrying about getting holes in the heels, sole or toes and having to toss the whole sock.
