Gradients have been popular for years now, I have quite a few in my stash and used a few in my designs. What I love most of all is a gradient of stitches vs a gradient of color. Cascade is a simple cowl design that highlights the gradient or ‘cascade’ of stitches using striking double wraps.

The double wraps have a high impact with a slightly larger than average lace holes. The double wraps are easy to make quick to knit, you won’t want to put this cowl down! This single skein project is perfect to tuck in your coat or make as a quick gift.

Stitch marker

GAUGE
28 stitches x 40 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in 1x1 ribbing
