This Bottom up textured bulky beanie begins with ribbing and proceeds to body then decreases to form the head. Uses bulky (5) weight yarn comparable to Lion Brand Yarn’s Color Made Easy and Knit Picks Bravo Bulky and a K/6.5mm crochet hook. The stitch used throughout is the Paris Stitch that provides lovely texture.

This is a quick make and perfect for last minute gifts, market and craft shows. Top with your favorite pom-pom for a stylish look.

There is gauge for the brim ribbing and a separate one for the body. However, since only 1 hook is used, once you meet gauge with a hook you can proceed with that hook to the body of the beanie. The sizes include:
Adult Large - up to 22” circumference
Adult Medium - up to 20” circumference
Child - up to 18” circumference

This is a great one skein or left over yarn project. The large uses approximately 160 yards and the Child uses approximately 100 yards of bulky (5) weight yarn.
