Cascading Diamonds is a simple accessory and a great way to try lace knitting. With its single repeat
and simple design, it makes learning lace knitting easy.
I’ve used a solid color for the sample, but the wrap’s simplicity would look amazing if knit with a
subtly-variegated or hand-dyed yarn.
The wonderful thing about this pattern is that it’s easy to modify the width or the length. You can
increase the number of repeats to make your scarf wider and turn it into a wrap. On the other hand,
you can increase the rows of the basic lace pattern for a longer scarf.
Cascading Diamonds is offered as both a chart and in written-out instructions.
