Cascading Gradient Scarf
Yarn: Bulky Weight (5), 2 coordinating self striping or gradient colorways, Approx. 300 yards of each
Used for Pattern: Lion Brand Scarfie, 1 Ball each of colors
A) Cream Black (201)
B) Charcoal Aqua (209)
Hook: 6.0mm, or whatever works best with your yarn
Other Supplies: Tapestry needle for weaving ends, surface to block finished scarf
Gauge: Gauge is not critical for the project. If the exact yarn is used, you will likely be able to block to the same size. If a different yarn is used, be sure to check the size after completing the first 2 rows, and ensure that it suits you.
Finished Size: After blocking, approx. 16” wide by 4 feet long
Difficulty: This pattern is for adventurous beginners, and is written in Canadian/ US crochet terms. The most difficult part of this pattern for a beginner would be the decreasing.
