This easy level pattern is perfect for beginners who are looking to stretch their skill. The pattern calls for half double crochets and working in the 3rd loop of those HDCs. It also calls for single crochet stitches as well as spike stitches. The pattern is written step by step with lots of photos to reference (in the full photo version only). It calls for about 60 yards of worsted weight yarn in 4 different colors and a size H8 5 mm crochet hook. I also recommend the use of stitch markers in various places.

This listing includes two versions of the pattern to download. The first is a full photo 5 page version, the second is an ink friendly version, 2 pages long.
