Casey Jones
This shawl was designed with Colorado ballpark evenings in mind. Rain, snow, and chilly winds are what we can experience one night with butterflies fluttering at your feet at the next game. Casey Jones, our local park where baseball can be enjoyed almost every evening in the late spring and summer, is the inspiration for my design. The larger needle gauge on a smaller weight yarn gives it flexibility when it comes to the weather: cool enough for the warmer days and warm enough for the cooler days. I’ll spend a few nights a week wrapped up in this piece cheering on my son’s team.
