Cashmenorah
Late November and early December is a magical time, filled with family and a bit too much delicious food, from the turkey and stuffing to crunchy latkes and sweet sufganiyot (in the case of 2013, this was all on the same day!). This hat is a tribute to Hanukkah, the eight-day festival of light.
Knit in the round with super soft Cashmere yarn, the Mosaic Menorah pattern is designed to be a subtle, sophisticated nod to this winter holiday. I worked with yarn from Rebecca Kevelson of Clinton Hill Cashmere and Geraldine Yang of The Wandering Flock, both fellow Brooklynites, but it can be made with 50 grams of any DK-weight yarn in contrasting colors.
There are a limited number of Cashmenorah kits available to purchase on Indie Untangled.
