Caspar the Peary Caribou
First seen as a festive instalment for Ed’s Animals Club in 2017, Caspar the Peary Caribou proudly takes his place in the menagerie. His magnificent antlers and fluffy chest give beginner crocheters an opportunity to level up their skills using new techniques like ‘loop stitch’ and ‘branching’. Did you know that a peary caribou is able to outrun an arctic wolf, and this curious creature is also a very good swimmer!
This soft toy will look at home in the nursery, sitting on the shelf or lovingly gift-wrapped for the loved ones in your life. Once you’ve finished crocheting Caspar the Peary Caribou, you’ll be ready to start the next animal in the collection with this addictive new hobby!
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
