Inspired by the soft boucle yarn my friend Cassia gifted me, the Cassia Hat is cozy and versatile, featuring a folded brim and earflaps. Bonus? It knits up super quickly! Perfect for gift knitting.

Sizes: Baby/Toddler ( Junior/Adult Small ) Adult Medium ( Adult Large )

Head Circumferences:
45-49 ( 50-54 ) 55-59 ( 60-64 ) cm
17¾-19¼ ( 19¾-21¼ ) 21½-23¼ ( 23½-25¼ ) “

Yarn Suggestion:
Woolfolk Flette Bulky or sub with Bulky weight yarn
100 ( 125 ) 145 ( 165 ) m
109 ( 137 ) 143 ( 180 ) yd

Gauge:
14 sts x 22 rows = 10cm (4”) in stockinette stitch in the round, after blocking

Needles:
5.50 mm (US 9) / 40 & 80 cm (16 & 32”) circular needles for hat body and Magic Loop knitting for the crown
OR
5.50 mm (US 9) DPNs
Or use needle size that obtains gauge.
During test-knitting, there was a 50/50 split between people getting gauge with 5.00 / 5.50 mm needles. So please knit a swatch to determine which needle size to use!
