Cassiopeia Sweater
The Cassiopeia Sweater is worked top-down with cabled raglan-increases on the yoke and a folded hem on the bottom of the body. The sleeves are fitted at the top and grow wider towards the bottom, ending in a cable and lace pattern. The neckline is wide and finished with an i-cord edge. The sweater is designed to have a cropped fit, ending a little below the waist, but the pattern includes instructions to adjust the length for other preferences as well.
The sweater is designed for a bust circumference of approx. 73,5 (83,5) 94 (104) 114 cm. and therefore has a positive ease of approx. 5 (4) 3,5 (3,5) 6 cm.
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL
Bust circumference: approx. 78,5 (87,5) 97,5 (107,5) 120 cm.
Length: approx. 48 (49) 49,5 (50,5) 51 cm.
Gauge: 16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5 mm US8 needles after washing.
Recommended needles: 5 mm US8 circular needles (40, 60 and 80/100 cm), 4,5 US7 mm circular needles (80/100 cm) and a cable needle.
Recommended Yarn: 300 (350) 400 (450) 500 g of Snefnug from CaMaRose (50 g = 110 m) OR 250 (250) 300 (350) 350 g of Air from Drops Design (50 g = 150 m).
Additional materials: stitch markers (1 for BOR and 7 for raglan) and optionally some embroidery thread or scrap yarn for the embroidered constellation on the chest.
