Castanha sweater is a turtleneck sweater with pockets hidden in the ribbing. The inspiration for this sweater comes from my walks through the forests with my children during the colder months. The chilly weather just calls for a cosy sweater that keeps you warm. Also, my children always pick up everything from chestnuts and acorns to little twigs which makes pockets a must-have. The pockets are wide and deep enough to carry even your smartphone, keys and other essentials.

I recommend a worsted weight (non-superwash) yarn or a combination of lace and sport/DK weight yarn if you’d like to work with mohair.
