This pattern was designed to be made with my hand-dyed “Super Soft Super Bulky Single”, but it works equally well with Malabrigo super bulky yarns (Rasta & Caracol) AND handspun.

Holiday time can be stressful. Here is a quick holiday gift for everyone on your list. Knit them up in a few hours with one skein of super bulky yarn and big needles. The only problem you may encounter is the decision to actually gift it or keep it for yourself!

I named this “Castle Cowl” because I think the slipped stitches look like the bricks that stick out of the wall in old European Castles.

Matching cuffs and hat will be released soon in worsted weight yarn.
