This two-story castle makes the perfect doll house for any youngster’s fairytale friends! It features a flowering vine, secret turret door, windows, and wall tapestries.

There’s no need to worry about gauge, but with worsted weight yarn, your castle will probably end up 11” tall with a 6 1/2” diameter.

You’ll need the following feltable (100% wool) yarns for the castle: brown (for the doors), medium gray, light gray or white, black, and green (for the vines). Use scraps of sport-weight yarn (does not have to felt) for the flowers and tapestries.

For knitters who have done it all, there are some creative techniques you probably haven’t encountered before! It’s all very clearly explained, with tons of photos.

Enjoy!
