Castor & Pollux
These socks are named for twin stars because they are the same, but not quite. They are worked from top to toe with zig-zag lines knitted in. This is probably the easiest of the top-to-toe socks.
The zig-zags on one begin moving to the left, while on the other they begin by moving to the right. At the end of their zig-zagging, somewhere in the middle of the foot, the lines continue in one direction until they reach the farther side. There they end.
