MATERIALS
• Knit Picks Billow in Gosling (100% Pima Cotton) - 8 skeins or ~900 total yards of another category 5 yarn
• 8.0mm crochet hook
• Large eye blunt needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
MEASUREMENTS
• Gauge: 2 rows x 3 HDC across = 1”x 1” square
• Finished piece measurements are taken flat:
o LONG - top to bottom 32”
o WIDE - side to side 60”
o BACK - across the back from sleeve to sleeve = 23”
STITCHES USED
• Ch – Chain
• Sl St – Slip Stitch
• SC – Single Crochet
• DC – Double Crochet
• HDC – Half Double Crochet
• HHDC – Herringbone Half Double Crochet
• HDC2tog – Half Double Crochet 2 together
• HDCFC – Half Double Crochet Foundation Chain
SPECIAL STITCHES
• HHDC – YO. Insert hook into indicated stitch. YO and draw through the stitch. Draw through the first loop on the hook. YO and draw through both loops on the hook.
• HDC2tog – YO. Insert hook into indicated stitch. YO and draw through the stitch. Insert hook into the next stitch. YO and draw through the stitch. YO and draw through all four loops.
PATTERN NOTES
• This wrap is made in one piece from side to side
• The sleeves are sewn in at the end
• Ch-1 and Ch-2 at the beginning of each row does NOT count as the first stitch
• Remember to check you gauge
PATTERN MODIFICATIONS
• This wrap can be made longer by adding stitches in multiples of 2; 3 stitches = ~1”
• This wrap can be made wider by adding any type of row: HHDC row, HDC2tog row or SC/DC row
• The back can be made wider by adding SC/DC rows after the first sleeve opening is made
• The sleeve opening can be made larger by decreasing the number of stitches and increasing the Chain
