Pigeon tracks march downwards across the garter stitch, only to be met by cat footprints stalking sideways around the curve of the shawl. A simple slipped stitch fleck is scattered across the garter stitch border to finish. This shawl uses 3 x 100g skeins of 4ply to complete, and is a generous size.

Knitters please note - this shawl begins with Judy’s Magic cast on and an icord tab, and the top edges continue the icord throughout the shawl. If you are unfamiliar with that technique, please research and practice it with scrap yarn to make sure you are comfortable that you can do it, before purchasing this pattern.

ERRATA - it has been brought to my attention that in the cast on instructions, 4.5mm needles are specified. this is a typo, you will only use 3mm needles for the entire shawl. a new pattern has been uploaded which corrects this. sorry for any confusion!
