The body of this hat is knit straight, starting at the base of the cone and decreasing as you continue up to the top. The edges are seamed together, and then a Tiny Picot Bind Off border is added to the base in the round. A pom pom goes on top, and two tie straps will help secure it to your tiny little friend’s tiny little head.

This hat can be made with any yarn weight, but the size of your final object will of course change. Use needles that are a couple sizes smaller than the recommended size for that yarn weight. You want the fabric to be dense enough so the hat will stand on its own.
