• Meet Oreo the cat. Oreo was designed for a customer who wished to have a toy cat that looks like her own cat. As her name implies little Oreo is sweet as well as playful. Although she is very cute, she becomes the bravest cat ever when her best friend is afraid. Her favorite things to do are playing outside in good weather with her friends. On rainy or snowy days she likes to play explorer inside the house. She also loves story time, but beware she can get hyper. Over all love Oreo and she will love you twice as much back.

She makes a great gift. :D

Level: easy for amigurumi

In order for you to follow this pattern’s instructions properly and have your attempt at recreating what I have designed turn out anything similar to the reference picture I have displayed, you are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of how to crochet amigurumi.

Techniques you should know are…
Magic Circle (MC)
Single crochet (Sc)
Chain stitch (Ch)
Increasing (Inc) or (2Sc)
Decreasing (Dec) or (sc2tog)
Slip Stitch (Sl St)
and basic sewing for attaching pieces together.

If made using medium/worsted weight yarn and corresponding hook size you can expect him to be about 9 inches tall from bottom of body to top of head. From his nose to his tail tip 16 inches long. His legs are 4.5inch - 5inch, of course this also dependents on how tightly/loosely you crochet.
