Hello!
In this pattern you will create a 3D cat head with a chain and tassel for the bookmark tail (what will hold the place of the book). It is fairly small, only 2 cm in height and length. You can use a different yarn and hook, but it will create a larger or smaller cat head.
You will require 1 skein of light weight yarn (I usually try to find size 1 or a yarn that looks quite thin at my local store or I double up on Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread 10), some embroidery thread for detailing the nose, whiskers and mouth, a stitch marker, sewing needle, a 2.1 mm crochet hook and 3mm safety eyes with potential need for glue to secure. Feel free to crochet your cat any colour you choose!
