I designed this cowl as I anticipated a vacation in the
Bahamas. During the cold of later winter, I can’t help
envisioning beach scenes. Hence, the cables (ropes),
diamond patterns (flags), and small pebbly patterns
(ripples on the water), all worked in an ocean-blue color
in this cowl.

Gauge: 36 sts = 5” and 43 rnds = 4” in cowl pattern, after blocking
