This is an easy pattern and requires only basic crochet skills, such as chain stitch, double crochet stitch, and weaving in ends. The modified filet stitch creates spaces in the cloth that form the design. Notice in the photo the dark background showing through the spaces.

Finished dimensions will be approx. 8” x 8” (20cm x 20cm)

Materials needed:

1 - Yarn: 1.5 oz. (44 grams) 100% cotton, worsted weight 4-ply (or 10-ply for UK, NZ, AU)

2 - Crochet hook size:
· D-3 or E-4 (U.S.)
· 3.25mm or 3.5mm (Metric)
