This is a pattern that should fit a standard woman´s head. You could easily adjust the amount of chains in the first row to fit any size head.

Is fairly simple, the body is worked with half double crochet and the ribbing is done with sc on back post and you may finish your hat with a crab stitch, and don´t forget stitch your ears closed.
