Cat eye
I’m a ceramist and I have done ceramics in the style of cats.
My hallmark is the one-eyed cats.
It’s been fun trying the one-eyed cat pattern on a pair of gloves.
It feels like they were made in the 50-60’s because the choice of colors and patterns.
The colors I chose I knitted in a thickened self-spun yarn.
I had done a bit that was enough for a few rows. The yarn I dyed in a lichen which I picked up in Värmland during the holiday season … it smells so good: D
The pattern has more stitches than the usual ones so I have used a thinner yarn and smaller needles. I knit quite solid. 2.5 on the sticks was well suited to Rauma finull.
I have explained simple how to knit mittens and a chart to follow. Some photos of how I made the border but you might as well knit a few extra rows in the ordinary yarn.
(think it’s fun to use my yarn which I spun)
A skein of each color in Rauma finull is good enough for a pair of mittens in adult size
