Cat Garfield
The toy is crocheted in continuous spirals without joining the rounds. You will need a stitch marker to keep track of where the beginning of each round starts. Move the marker up to the first stitch of the next
round after finishing the previous one.
If you don’t have a stitch marker you can always use a scrap of
contrasting yarn instead. You can see it in my photos.
Main yarn – Cotton grass yarn from the Kamtex factory 100g/220m, 65% cotton, 35% polyamide
A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 14 mm in diameter. You can
use black half beads, beads or buttons instead.
Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 60 cm / 23.62 inches long 1 mm in diameter.
Stuffing - Fiberfill
Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to work up the wire ends (optional)
Crochet hook – I used 1.75 mm

The wool for felting (nose)
A needle for felting (№36, №38)
