The Crochet Cat Gnome PDF Pattern comes with two variations written into the pattern with the ability to make the Cat Gnome with either a muzzle or a beard, each option absolutely adorable in its own way.

The design also has the bonus that many of the limbs are added seamlessly into the design while crocheting, minimizing some of the need for additional stitching.

PATTERN INFORMATION

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is intermediate (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the ch, working in the back and front loop only, working both sides of a chain, bobble stitch, the invisible join, and the adjustable (magic) ring.
• Some hand embroidery is also used in this project.

• yarn in your choice of colors (about 229-251 yds/209-230 m of worsted/aran)
• a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• stuffing
• pins
• scissors
• chopstick to help stuff

• embroidery needle
• needle pullers (optional)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the Crochet Cat Gnome measures approximately 10 inches (25 cm) tall with the tip of the hat standing straight up.
