Cat Tracks Wrap
This asymmetrical wrap is the perfect finishing touch to your spring and summer wardrobe. The interesting curved triangle shaping is complimented by simple yet striking lace bands that keep the knitting interesting and add texture to the finished piece. The lace is based on traditional lace patterns sometimes referred to as cat’s paws, making this a wonderful gift for the cat lover on your knitting list! Don’t be afraid to substitute yarns with this shawl! It will look beautiful in a light weight wool or a blend with lovely drape.
Take time to check your gauge! Needle size will vary considerably from knitter to knitter and will change if you use a different yarn. You should have about 8 stitches per inch before blocking, and 6 per inch after blocking. Gauge is not as important as the drape of the finished fabric though working at a tighter or looser gauge may impact your yardage.
