The Catalina Cowl is a very easy knit with a stunning result - completely reversible.
The cowl is knit in the round, mostly in stockinette stitch - only a few stitches are purl stitches.

The original sample was knit with a sport weight yarn. But it is possible to use any yarn weight – all you need to do is swatch and calculate the number of stitches you need to cast-on for the circumference your cowl should have. This way you can adjust your cowl in width. Adjusting it in length is also pretty easy …

Obwohl dieser Cowl auf den ersten Blick recht kompliziert aussieht ist er jedoch ziemlich einfach nachzuarbeiten => es wird in Runden fast ausschließlich rechts gestrickt, es gibt nur einige wenige linke Maschen.
Im Original wurde ein “sportweight yarn” verwendet. Das Muster lässt sich aber ganz leicht variieren und auf jede Garnstärke anpassen.
Ideal für das eine besondere Knäuel, das immer auf das passende Muster gewartet hat !
