Catalina is often used as a nautical term and means pure. This clock pattern is named to give you pure waves in time. Not only will it decorate the space you wish to hang it in but it will help to keep you and your family running on time in style. There are 2 different colour options you can choose depending on the look you would like.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

Finished Size: Approximately 30cm in diameter

You’ll need:
- 4.5mm Hook for clock face and 2.5mm or 3mm for embellishments.
-Yarn needle, Scissors, Pins, ST Markers, a very small amount of wadding to stuff the turtles.
-Round Plywood clock face measuring 28cm to 30cm in diameter.
-Clock mechanism. Best to check if they make a ticking noise as these can be annoying for some spaces like bedrooms and office areas. I found mine online and at a store called Kmart in Australia.
Yarn:
I’ve used Fiddlesticks Finch 10ply Cotton 70gms / 105m per ball for the face of the clock, and Scheepjes Catona Cotton 4ply 10gm balls / 25m per ball for the turtles and starfish embellishments.
Finch Colours in sample 1
Colour 1 - Aqua 6246 (C1) x 1 ball
Colour 2 – Jute 6203 (C2) x 1 ball
Colour 3 – Mustard 6218 (C3) x 1 ball
Catona Colours in sample 1
Turtles - C1 x 2, C2 x 1
Starfish x 2 balls different colours
There is more than enough of the Finch to possibly do 2 clock face covers in sample 1.
