When I started designing this vest, I was aiming for the ‘wow’ factor. I wanted to make something that made the wearer feel a little special no matter what they were doing. And I chose colors and the chevron pattern give it a vintage feel. Although you could use any number of colors, I think, for impact, you wouldn’t want to use too few, but it could
look stunning in two highly contrasting colors. I used a
superwash merino from Lion Brand, which is closer to a
5 ply in thickness so substituting another 8 ply yarn may
make the sizes too big and you should check the gauge
first.
