This beginner crochet pattern is perfect for a quick afternoon project, gifts for the holidays, market prep item, or if you’re learning how to crochet. The pattern includes instructions to make an infinity scarf or an open textured scarf, with different options to finish the edges, making it very versatile and fun.

-You will need to know how to ch, hdc in blo, and have basic crochet skills and know how to read a crochet pattern.
-This pattern includes instructions to make the scarf into an infinity scarf or an open ended scarf with plain, fringe, or faux fur pom pom edges.

Finished Sizes (laid flat and unstretched):
Infinity Scarf: Approximately 7” / 18 cm W x 60” / 153 cm L
Open Scarf: Approximately 7” / 18 cm W x 70” / 178 cm L, not including fringe or pom poms

Materials:
-Between 131 yds / 210 g to 168 yds / 268 g (depending on style chosen) of Super Bulky #6 weight yarn; Designer’s samples made with Wool Ease Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn (6 oz / 170 g per 106 yd / 97 m)
-US P/11.5mm Crochet Hook – or hook to obtain gauge
-(2) faux fur pom poms with strings (optional for pom pom edge)
-Scissors
-Tape Measure
-Tapestry Needle
-Steamer (optional)
-Blocking Mats + T-Pins (optional)
-Rotary Cutter (optional for fringe)
-Scrap Cardboard, approximately 8” / 20 cm wide (optional for fringe)
