Caterpillar is the next installment for my upcoming book, Through the Knitting Glass! A simple and meditative infinity scarf, that features an all over herringbone stitch, designed to show off the best variegated yarn in your stash! The texture gives it a cozy feel, whilst also still draping in a lovely way.

It also features planned pooling to create a plethora of different colour effects on the fabric, depending on the type of variegation you choose. A skein with two or three colors will stripe and a skein with multiple colors will have a more painterly effect.

This pattern works well with just one skein, but a second can be used to make the scarf wider or longer!
