Caterpillar Girl Cowl

Fun fast knit & guaranteed smile getter :)

line by line abbreviated instructions and charted included, with photo tutorial for pom-poms.

Advancing beginner skill level.

Striped (2 rounds each color) patterning with slip stitch caliper cables on stockinette background.

Worked bottom up in the round.

Due to the difference in row gauge between the slipped cables and the St st, it creates an almost gathered look – which reminded me of the undulating bodies of striped caterpillars.

Designed for self-striping yarns but any two high contrast colors work nicely.
