Caterpillar Hand Puppet
This puppet pattern has two parts, a cocoon and a butterfly. The butterfly is attached inside with velcro. The butterfly can be taken out and is then a finger puppet that the user can make fly. Acrylic yarns make this toy washable and it is recommended for settings where many children may be using the puppet. Variegated yarns are suggested for crocheting the butterfly. It is a great addition to storybooks about caterpillars.
