Some revisions to Rounds 10 and 11 for clarity.
Some ideas if your blocks are getting too ‘BIG’:
This pattern hooks up rather large. In fact, I used a 4.5 mm (US G) hook for my last one….so hook accordingly. Another good suggestion is to replace the dc in RND 2 with hdc.
Gorgeous design that was previously unreachable, although desired by many. The pattern I present is detailed, re-written for clarity, and has tutorial photos to get you through the rough parts.
Of course, you could make it in thread, or yarn, as you like. The current tutorial/re-write makes either a 12” block in worsted weight yarn with a 4.5 or 5 mm hook, but the thread version would be half that size at least. The original pattern was written with thread.
At least this allows you the flexibility to actually make it!!
