This double-sided bag allows for two different looks- you can choose the colorful sun aesthetic or the romantic moon aesthetic, giving you options to fit your own personal style. The design features a braided strap for comfort, a zipper closure, and an optional interior lining. Created to be reminiscent of Cathedral-stained glass and the parts are quite repetitive, so you’ll be styling in no time! This may seem like a long pattern, but there are many pictures, making it seem longer- don’t feel overwhelmed!

You have the option of using a 7” or 9” zipper.

The pattern uses an overlay technique and creates texture and overlap to make the piece look like stained glass.

It is an intermediate pattern.

Materials
o 4ply worsted weight yarn in 5 colors (I used a combination of acrylic yarn brands- Impeccable, Red Heart, and Craft Smart)
o Color A (yellow)- 25g/35yd
o Color B (black)- 190g/329yd
o Color C (rainbow ombre)- 40g/65yd
o Color D (white)- 10g/23yd
o Color E (blue-purple variegated)- 50g/87yd
o 5mm crochet hook or whatever size hook is needed to meet gauge
o Tapestry needle
o Scissors
o Tape measure
o Sewing needle and thread- I had used a sewing machine, but you can hand-sew instead if desired
o 7’’ zipper OR 9” zipper (see notes for changes to siding if you choose to use the bigger zipper)
o Optional- fabric for lining approximately 1 yard (lines the front and back panels)- This is only needed if you want to add a fabric lining to the bag
