Cathedral Heirloom Baby Blanket
The inspiration for this blanket came from my recent visit to England. I spent many hours roaming through the beautiful cathedrals and castles scattered throughout England, and was amazed by the intricate detail of the architecture, especially in Gloucester Cathedral. The incredible ceiling of the cloister was absolutely amazing, and I knew I would somehow have to incorporate the beautiful detail work into a knitting pattern. With the upcoming event of a ‘Royal Baby’ I set about designing, sketching, knitting swatches, and finally completing this blanket pattern. This pattern comes with charts, and step by step photo’s, showing exactly how certain stitches are knitted.
