Original cowl measures approximately 42” unblocked if using fingering weight yarn. Any weight yarn will definitely work on this design. If using worsted just eliminate one of the window round repeats, etc. The cowl has an 11 stitch repeat, so if you want a longer cowl to double around your neck, you may want to add one or two more 11 stitch repeats.

I have also knitted fingerless gloves with the cathedral window motif. The pattern is forthcoming.
