Cathedral Wrap and Scarf
What could be more lovely that wrapping yourself in a generous hug of aran weight yarn in the depths of winter? Working with the Folklore Yarn “Traditions”, a Donegal Tweed aran, the cables just seemed to be flow off the needles, and as I stood back to look at what was developing the image of Cathedral arches and cloisters came to mind.
The Fossil colourway in the Donegal tweed only lending itself to that image with the grey of the stonework and the multicoloured flecks, the reflections from the stained glass windows.
The design has two sizes, a luxurious winter wrap and a
smaller everyday scarf. Add tassels, a fringe, or just leave it bare. The pattern has full written instructions.
