The Catherine balaclava falls smoothly over the shoulders. The design is inspired by the triple goddess symbol. The full moon appears in different places in the lower section. It is a pattern as old as time itself, a rhythm that resonates deeply with the heartbeat of the earth and the souls of its inhabitants, a fascinating symbol of female strength and spiritual growth.

You knit the balaclava from bottom to top in the round using 5 rustic colours of DROPS AIR:
05 brown 50 g
04 medium grey 50 g
03 pearl grey 50 g
31 black 50 g
06 anthracite 50 g

After the neckline, cast off the centre stitches and knit the hood back and forth on the needle. Around the opening for the face, there will be a border in garter stitch. The size of the balaclava is suitable for everyone. It is also a very easy pattern.

This balaclava is a pattern from the Catherine bundle, along with the jumper and cape. You can find all the patterns here in my Ravelry shop Micca-witchcraft. Catherine is part of MICCA, a collection in tribute to the many victims of the witchcraft persecution. In Europe alone, more than 100,000 alleged witches were burned at the stake. Catherine was one of the victims. Along with five other women, she was burned on a hill in Ellezelles, a small village in Hainaut, Belgium, on 26 October 1610.
